P4 Mentor Volunteers

P4 Mentor Program D-Riskers volunteer with XL106.7’s Baby DJ Program!


Throughout December, Digital Risk’s P4 Mentor Program mentors and mentees put their commitment to professional and personal development to good use by volunteering with XL106.7’s Baby DJ Program, a Central Florida charity initiative in which XL106.7 collects toys to be distributed to families that otherwise wouldn’t have a Christmas.

20141215_P4-Volunteer-donationsP4 Mentor Program D-Riskers led the charge throughout the company, collecting toys to be donated to the Baby DJ Program. In all, Digital Risk was able to donate over 10 boxes full of toys (more than 100 toys) to the Program. P4 Mentor Program participants then went a step further and volunteered at the Baby DJ Program Toy Warehouse to assist with dropping off gifts, sorting gifts and decorating the warehouse.

“It was a great day volunteering for Baby DJ, not only to be surrounded by my fellow P4 Mentees, but also to be working together for such a great cause,” said Sr. Loan Fulfillment Analyst Stacy Sosebee. “We came together as a team to help deliver Christmas to many families in need! Bringing gifts and being crafty with Christmas decorations brought a smile to everyone’s face.”

“Volunteering for Baby DJ was a great experience and was awesome to have had the chance to take part in making a difference in a child’s and family’s life,” said Performance Supervisor Carrie Eanes. “It was amazing to see Digital Risk departments come together and provide children with gifts for Christmas.”

Now in its 21st year of operation, the 2014 Baby DJ Program was able to help approximately 3,500 Central Florida families celebrate Christmas with toys, food, trees and more. To learn more about the Program, click here.

The P4 (Preparing Protégés through Professional Partnerships) Mentor Program was established to help D-Riskers in their professional and personal development. Several high-potential Mentees are selected from around the company and paired with Mentors to participate in this 6-month leadership development program, which includes mentoring, classroom instruction, a community service project and a leadership book report.
