Sr. Software Engineer

Location: Maitland, Florida

 

 

 

Essential Job Functions for a Sr. Software Engineer:

  • Architect, design, develop and release quality web based and middle tier software products
    utilizing Visual Studio 2017  and other technologies (including AWS, Google, Low Code development tools, etc. ) to get the job done
  • Develop and tune complex stored procedures (T-SQL) in SQL 2012R2 and above
  • Write development documentation and perform unit tests for the code developed
  • Work with a project manager to ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget and that all deliveries meet quality requirements
  • Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to mitigate and address these issues
    in a continuous build DevOps environment
  • Provide senior level support along with our hosting teams for various developed applications
  • Work with various teams, including offshore to ensure knowledge sharing and skills advancement for the larger team

 

Qualifications

 

  • Possess technological passion along with an appreciation for your users and clients
  • In depth MS-Visual Studio ASP.NET experience utilizing the C# language
  • Knowledge of low code development platforms and ability to employ them in concert with ASP.Net solutions to speed development and take advantage of speed to market
  • Knowledge and experience within cloud based development platforms such as Azure, Google Cloud Platform and Amazon Web Services
  • Knowledge and experience in development and security best practices
  • User interface design knowledge as well as exposure to UX guidelines
  • Advanced MS-SQL Server stored procedure development using T-SQL within SQL Server 2012R2
    or above
  • Ability to design/develop/code for web-balanced and clustered database environments
  • Willing to work with new technologies/toolsets/design patterns as available to speed the development
    process
  • Excited to understand end-user requirements and suggest changes to applications that can improve efficiencies and user productivity
  • Strong self-sufficiency and architecture initiative while working on multiple projects
  • Highly motivated and able to work independently to achieve a desired result
  • Strong writing and documentation skills as well as source control experience
  • Excellent oral communication and writing skills
  • Understanding of Agile methodologies
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage time effectively
  • Current relevant industry certifications desired
