Digital Risk Turns 9

Digital Risk Turns 9 Years Old!

Digital Risk is officially 9 years old, and what an incredible and fun nine-year journey it has been. Starting from just 8 D-Riskers working from one small Orlando-area building, to now a global organization, staying strong and continuing to grow and prosper. In honor of this achievement and to commemorate the journey leading to where we are today, many D-Riskers sent us some of their favorite memories of “making the journey fun” and how they too have grown with the company over the years.

“During my 7+ years with Digital Risk, I have gained many favorite memories, such as an office prank in which my old team members toilet papered everything in my office, including a “wall” of toilet paper rolls in front of my office door to prevent me from entering my own office! I also loved the marshmallow wars at our old office building and gathering in front of the very tiny “man cave” area for a team picture at one of our old office entryways. As far as my growth with the company, beginning as a Contract Underwriter, I have had the unique opportunity to grow from the bottom up during the early stages of Digital Risk’s growth. Being part of the brainstorming and development of our products, learning how to build client relationships, and working closely with our Business Intelligence and Information Technology teams through multiple client implementations (even before the institution of our Project Management Office), the knowledge and exposure that I have gained, both personally and professionally, is immeasurable. I feel fortunate to have started my journey with Digital Risk when I did, and to continue to learn something new every day.”

–          Maitland Vice President of Origination & Secondary Traci Cox

“One of my favorite memories is the generosity of so many D-Riskers when others are in need. The way Digital Risk team members come together for the benefit of others is unparalleled. There was an occasion when over $10,000 was raised for a fellow team member in need!  Other fond memories are the creative ways D-Riskers live up to Principle #7 ‘We make the journey fun’; such as bowling & corn hole tournaments, Easter Egg hunts, potlucks, team members bringing in musical instruments for entertainment (before development of ‘Breaking LUSY’), and you can’t forget our company holiday celebrations!  Digital Risk has become an extraordinary employer of choice to meet other like kind professionals, demonstrate your talents, expand your skillset, and maximize your career opportunities.  I look forward to continuing my journey as a D-Riskers for the years to come.”

–          Lake Mary Sr. Manager of Advisory Services Ebony Cohen

“I have had the opportunity to experience many favorite memories during my 6+ years with Digital Risk, including: The celebration our team hosted to celebrate a fellow team member’s achievement of beating cancer. This D-Risker was a true inspiration to all of us, rarely missing work throughout her treatment process and remaining optimistic; Team members surprising the management group with a Manager Appreciation Day the week before the “secret” Employee Appreciation Week event; When my team decorated my desk with aluminum foil for my birthday, resulting in a 3-inch ball of foil upon removal; And watching the company’s favorite band, Breaking LUSY, playing at The Legendary Why Not Lounge in Orlando, FL. The memories and friendships I’ve made during my tenure with so many fabulous team members remind me every day how very blessed I am.”

–          Maitland Manager of Client Services Kelly Peyton

“Actually, my first contact with a Digital Risk Talent Acquisition Specialist was fantastic! This D-Risker was so positive and upbeat, that I just knew Digital Risk was a good company through my first impression. My next few interactions with several Talent Management Group team members were very positive, and we laughed as much as we talked. These individuals paved the way for some very good memories, as I continue to build strong and fruitful relationships with my fellow D-Riskers at the Denver office.”

Denver Human Resource Generalist Emily Willcock

“Some of my favorite memories came from the old days when we had marshmallow wars on a daily basis. Additionally, our company holiday celebrations are a blast!”

–          Maitland Loan Review Analyst Patrick Brill

“In my 17 months at Digital Risk, I have been able to enhance my underwriting skills and transition into a quality auditing role. I am thankful for the growth opportunity and wish Digital Risk continued success! One of my favorite memories at the company was the Jacksonville football kickoff event in September 2013. It was a very fun event that allowed team members to mingle, and my team won the office football decoration contest!”

–          Jacksonville Component Servicing Analyst Tedra White

“My favorite memories of my 3+ years with Digital Risk is our community support and involvement with organizations, such as Wounded Warrior Project, Give Kids The World and Relay For Life. We are a fantastic group of talented people who show care and support of each other and the community!”

–          Maitland Review Appraiser Cindy Dessert
