Digital Risk Moves for a Cause

D-Riskers Represent at Apopka Relay For Life, Jacksonville Setting the Pace for Peace and Boca Raton Walk to Cure Diabetes all in one day!

D-Riskers were running, walking and relaying throughout the State of Florida this past weekend all for a good cause!

D-Riskers from our Orlando offices relayed, camped out and sold delicious Latin Food at the Relay For Life of Apopka on Saturday, April 5 at Wekiva High School track. Team “Digital Risk” Captain and Talent Management Coordinator Katherine G. baked the infamous beef and pizza empanadas and beef and pork rellanas de papa (potato balls) that are always an event favorite. Katherine and team “Digital Risk” have participated in Relay For Life of Apopka for three years now.

“I was very honored to participate in Relay for Life,” said Processor Denise T. “This event is very dear to me because I have family and friends that have fought the fight against cancer. Some have won the battle and some have passed on. It was a fantastic event for a fantastic cause. I look forward to continuing to fund raise for this and any many other fundraisers with Digital Risk.”

In between selling goodies and walking the track, team members submitted the winning photo (pictured below) for the #DigitalRisk Move For Charity photo contest, a social media photo contest that awarded a charity team member who posted the most creative photo with a Spot Award to go toward the team’s fundraising efforts. So far the team has raised over $150 for American Cancer Society! A big congrats to team “Digital Risk”!

“Setting the Pace for Peace was a wonderful event,” Said Quality Control Analyst Theresa W. “We were very glad to be a part of it.”

Receptionist Wendy J. and Set Up Analyst J. also spearheaded fundraising efforts, resulting in over $400 in funds raised for Hubbard House!

Team members from our Boca Raton office, their families and pets all walked in the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation’s Walk to Cure Diabetes on Saturday, April 5 at Mizner Park Amphitheater.
