Digital Risk’s third annual Health Challenge has come to a close, and the results are in. D-Riskers are in tip-top shape and starting 2015 off on the right foot, but there is one team (from each location) that kicked off 2015 even better – as Health Challenge Champions!
Queue the drumroll… and the winning teams of the 2015 Digital Risk Health Challenge are:
Throughout this three-week competition, 33 teams and over 270 D-Riskers from our Boca, Jax, Denver, Lake Mary and Maitland offices contended to win weekly divisional contests and the overall challenge. The team with the most points in each division at the end of each week earned “healthy” prizes. The team in each division who earned the most points throughout the challenge were crowned as overall champions, earning shiny Health Challenge Championship Medals.
Supervisor of Internal Communication and Health Challenge Commissioner Ryan Donelson has helped coordinate the three-week challenge since its inception. He and the Internal Communications group kept track of team scorecards for bonus point opportunities and weekly contests. Weekly divisional contests included walking 5,000 steps each day during Week 1; walking and drinking 60 ounces of water each day during Week 2; and walking, drinking and adding a healthy habit each day during Week 3. “I am so happy Digital Risk decided to continue the Health Challenge tradition and encourage everyone to get healthy,” said Ryan Donelson. “I look forward to the Health Challenge each year, as I get to not only have fun with my colleagues, but also help run a program that inspires everyone to get healthy, including myself.”
It has been a challenging three weeks, and we are proud to see so many D-Riskers getting involved and taking an active role in living a healthy lifestyle.
